It can feel lonely being a social worker, foster carer and adopter. In our experience, when you're going through the process of welcoming a child into your home for the first time, you have no idea what to expect and if what you're experiencing is a normal part of the process, which often add to those feelings of loneliness (and much more).

That's why we are working hard to build a close-knit community that brings everyone involved in the care system together, so we can connect with others that just get it at whatever stage you're at, and whenever you need a different perspective or understanding ear.
